In sport a lot of equipment requires special certifications to ensure maximum reliability and safety during use. For this reason all the handball ports in the catalog, are certified TUV Rheinland. Certified products therefore guarantee their realization with a view to safe and responsible use. Artisport offers only certified quality equipment, to guarantee its customers reliability and safety.
The necessary equipment for a correct supply of a handball court will be as follows: two doors placed in the center of the bottom lines and a ball that can be either synthetic leather, but much more frequently multi layer rubber or pvc for greater grip. The handball is a sport with very ancient origins whose traces date back to Roman times, but also to the culture of the Maya. Only towards the end of the nineteenth century it became a sport with real rules defined and in 1938 the first World Championships of men’s handball were organized. Handball began to spread throughout the world from the late 1960s until it became an Olympic sport in 1972 with the Olympic Games in Munich. In the Italian scene it is not yet a very widespread sport, but in recent years it is gaining ground in several regions where it was not practiced before.
