Realisation and installation of basketball backboards customised by the artist Mike128

In May 2025, Artisport completed an aesthetic and functional redevelopment project within the Piccola Resi Community in Vittorio Veneto (TV). The project involved replacing the existing basketball backboards with new, customized ones, created in collaboration with the artist Mike128.

This intervention transformed two standard sports installations into elements of strong visual and symbolic impact. The new backboards, adorned with vibrant graphics and bold colors, were designed as true pieces of urban art, intended to make the space more engaging and inclusive for the young people who use the facility. The goal was to create an environment where sport and creativity could coexist, offering a place where young people feel welcome, free to express themselves, and encouraged to take care of the space they experience every day.

The project was inaugurated on May 14th, with the participation of the local community. The final result is a basketball court that goes beyond its basic sporting function, becoming a space for gathering and identity-building for youth, blending aesthetics with social value.

With this initiative, Artisport continues to support projects that place sport at the center as a tool for growth, inclusion, and the positive transformation of shared spaces.
