Design and manufacturing of a roof-mounted basketball facility
For the equipment of the new Levi high school in Montebelluna, Artisport was involved since the gym design phase. The basketball facility had to be mounted on the ceiling, since no wall baskets nor ground systems could be used due to limited space.
The presence of a false ceiling required to design a foldable system which could be flattened to the point that the structure and the motor were hided beneath.
The tight collaboration between the gym engineers and Artisport resulted in the production of a special basketball facility able to overtake all issues due in particular to the presence of the conditioning and heating systems located under the false ceiling.
The basketball structure supplied by Artisport can be electrically lifted to allow the gym use also for volleyball and soccer.
