How to choose a professional volleyball system
Purchasing a professional volleyball system requires several important considerations. Our team of experts at Artisport has summarized the key elements to keep in mind when making your choice in this article.
Poles and support structure of the volleyball system
The quality of the poles is crucial to keeping the net tight and stable during play. The poles should be made of durable metals such as steel or aluminum to ensure stability and long-lasting performance. It's also essential to make sure the poles are compatible with the net and offer a height adjustment system to suit different player categories.
For example, Artisport offers a range of TUV-certified volleyball systems made of either steel or aluminum, available for fixed installation or as portable options, ideal for optimizing space on the court.

Volleyball net materials
Volleyball nets are typically made from durable materials such as polyester or nylon, designed to last over time and withstand wear and tear. If the net will be used for outdoor matches, it's important to choose a weather-resistant material to prevent rapid deterioration from sun or rain exposure.
For official competitions, it's particularly important to select regulation-compliant nets made according to FIPAV standards. One example is the V711/SN volleyball net by Artisport, made using a knotless technique and equipped with a top and bottom band, steel cable, movable antenna holders, and lateral tensioning bands, providing all the accessories needed for proper gameplay.
Indoor or outdoor use of volleyball systems
If you plan to use the volleyball system outdoors, in addition to weather-resistant materials, consider the need for a net that can be easily dismantled and reinstalled. For indoor spaces, such as school gyms or sports centers, fixed or semi-fixed systems are often the most suitable choice.
Included accessories
Many volleyball systems come with included accessories such as carrying bags, anchoring systems, and court marking bands. These extras can make setting up and managing the net much easier, especially for those in need of a portable solution for amateur tournaments or training on non-permanent courts.
Whether it's for official competitions, amateur matches, or school use, choosing the right net and ensuring proper installation is essential for an optimal playing experience. The Artisport team is available for technical guidance and further support.
